I saw myself in a photo recently and thought that’s not what i look like only, of course, that is. I’ve always been one of those people who didn’t like having my photo taken because it never seemed I came back from the processor looking anything like the person I thought I was. Now I wish I hadn’t hidden from cameras that weekend at the lake with friends when I got drunk, really, for the first time. Think how awesome it would be to review those memories now, messy drunk camping hair and all.

That’s why I’ve starting a project not unlike a million other people. 365 days of getting to know myself through the camera’s eye. Only, you know me, it’ll be more like 365 days but only 45 images. I’m not that taken with myself, thanks.

I will sometimes post the photos I take on the ndv but not always. This really isn’t about the rest of the world getting to know me as much as it’s about me getting to know me.
